Cafe Design

Cafe 63’s interior design brief was to create an ‘inside/outside’ ambience that was comfortable and embracing for everyone who entered. The client wanted the seating to be modern, soft and comfortable. The configurations must be flexible to suit single and group configurations.

A common theme of the Cafe 63 brand is Astro Turf. It is used in the Cafe 63 branding and had to be incorporated into their latest restaurant. The turf has been artistically placed on the wall in the shape of the 63 logo. Ironically, the cooling feeling of the turf complements the cheerful warmth of the rustic fireplace set into a stone hearth. Very appropriate for chilly Toowoomba days.

The landlord had very specific fitout and shopping centre guidelines. This meant that our design team acted as a conduit between client and landlord to ensure our client’s vision came to life while meeting the stringent shopping centre specifications.
