The Grande Caffe | Brisbane

Shipping containers are in abundance around the world. They are becoming a popular choice for home and business owners as a suitable structure to build their dreams. The owners of The Grande Caffe (translation - The Big Coffee) have a small footprint site in Newstead that perfectly suited the budget conscious shipping container concept. It's core purpose was to offer local commuters fresh food in a quirky shipping container setting. The design needed to be highly efficient and reliable. The cafe serves an Italian influenced breakfast and lunch menu with delectable pastries made by the owners.
For a tiny 16 square meters, Grande Caffe has managed to incorporate a Bonn microwave, Roband grill max toaster, Bromic refrigerators, Hobart undercounter dishwasher, Roband pie & food warmer, Anvil induction cooktop, Cyberchill back bar merchandiser refrigerator, Roband milk shake mixer, cappuccino machine, Anvil under counter refrigerator, POS, Koldtech refrigerated display case, True prep refrigerator, Turbofan oven, Rowlett Rutland single grill and toaster.
